I'm SO excited to be posting this!! It's titled preview #1 because I'm definitely going to be posting LOTS more. When I was going through all of their pictures and deciding which ones to edit there was about 140 pictures that I marked as "editable". It's going to be very difficult to narrow it all down to the absolute bestest ones to edit.
I've REALLY been enjoying editing their pictures tonight, but if I'm going to be of any use to my kids tomorrow I have to stop and get some sleep. ;)
Watch on the blog for more previews to come. :)
Doing Whitley and Josh's engagement pictures was an awesome experience! We went to several different locations, had dinner together, got candy apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, talked, laughed - and I got to document it all with pictures!! My wonderful husband (you may remember him from the sexiest man alive contest) came along and helped out with carrying all of my stuff, getting some good laughs, lifting me up on his shoulders so I could take certain pictures, serving as a light stand for my off camera flash - so I didn't have to mess with adjusting my actual light stand all day long, and lots and lots of other stuff. I did take a picture of my sexy assistant, but unfortunately it's not appropriate enough for posting, lol. ;) This was the first session that I have ever used my flash off-camera and can I just say that I absolutely loooooved it!!!!! I used it on most of the pictures I took - I loved it THAT much.
We seriously had so much fun. I can't wait to do her bridal session!
Here are some pictures for now. There were a few pictures that I had a hard time deciding if I liked them better in color or black/white - but there was one that I absolutely couldn't decide on, so I posted it in b/w and in color. I'm starting from the beginning of their session, and am working my way forward from there for editing. I haven't even scratched the surface of all of the locations we went to, so check back again to see the rest!

The Dowell Family Preview
Do you recognize these adorable kids?! I did the kids pictures back in November and now I got to do pictures of the whole family - I love it! They really are such an awesome family to work with. It was great to see them all again and to meet their Dad for the first time. Here's their preview . . . :)

Josie's 3 Month Preview
Can I just say that I am LOVING the opportunities I've been having lately to photograph cute babies!! I got to do Josie's newborn pics a few months ago and it was so fun to see her again and see how much she has grown. She has such a cute smile!! And her blessing dress is SO BEAUTIFUL! I have never seen a dress like this EVER - she looks like royalty. Sorry this is a short post - it's really late, but I had to get at least a few pictures up because I wasn't sure I would be able to do it tomorrow. It's going to be a BUSY day - but good busy because we are FINALLY putting up a fence in our backyard. YAY!!!!! It was supposed to have one when we moved in . . . but I'll spare you the details on that one. ;) So, here we are 3 years later about to build our first fence - wish us luck! I also get to do family pictures tomorrow for an awesome family with ADORABLE kids!! It will be a good day, but I'm sure I will be exhausted by the end of it. Here are a few of Josie's pics . . .

Brynlee's Blessing Pictures
This is my beautiful niece Brynlee! . . . and her parents too, of course. ;) She's almost 3 months old in these pictures (which were taken a couple weeks ago). We did a quick, last minute mini session one night so they could have some pictures of her in her blessing dress. Here are a few of my favorites so far . . .
