"Work it, baby, work it!" Haha! That's the phrase that keeps coming to my head as I edit these pictures. Dad would say it when everybody else was getting their pictures taken. It was great! They all came ready for a fun time - which makes for a great session. I bought some "winter boots" so my feet wouldn't freeze doing photo sessions in the winter. I never bothered to check out the tread (or lack there of). I was slipping all over the place! Those of you who know me, know that I'm naturally a clumsy person - this was MUCH worse. Luckily I never actually fell . . . my boots might not have been as practical as I had hoped, but at least I was slipping in style, right??
Thanks for a great time, Hallam family! :)

My Baby Turned 1!
This is my beautiful daughter, Katelyn! She just turned 1 year old this month. I really wanted some messy cake eating pictures, but she would have screamed bloody murder if I had dunked her hand in it - I know because I tried it the day of her birthday with the ugly cake that I made for her party (cake making is definitely NOT one of my talents).
For these pictures, we had to put pieces of banana on top of the cake just to get the cake messed up a little bit for the pictures (and to make it look like she was eating it). She was not a happy camper for this photo session, so we got what pictures we could in between the crying and called it good :). Katelyn is such a fun, sweet, beautiful baby and we feel very blessed to have her in our lives. Happy birthday, Katelyn! We love you!
Julee Hamilton made this adorable cake - isn't it so cute?! I wrote her an email of what I wanted and she designed it PERFECTLY to what I had in mind. The cake tasted AMAZING too. She doesn't have a website yet, but if any of you are interested in getting a cake done by her, email me and I can give you her number - audrey@audreyphotographyonline.com.
