It was a little windy, VERY hot, and VERY sunny, but I think we ended up ok. :) Here are some favorites from their temple day. Reception pics will be up soon!

The Durrant Family
I feel very fortunate to have worked with so many wonderful and patient people over this last year! This family is definitely one of them!! :)
A little story about poor mom . . . I think this session was originally scheduled in May sometime, but they had to cancel once and then I had to cancel once, so we ended up scheduling it for real towards the end of June. It was supposed to be a session with the whole family, but the mom broke her ankle about a week or so before it. So, we ended up just doing a kids session. Mom still came along with a cast on her foot, using crutches, and 7 months pregnant WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE!! To be honest, there's no way I would be smiling if I were in that situation, and I would have totally understood if she was not a happy camper (oh, and did I mention how HOT it was outside that day?! All you who have been pregnant know how uncomfortable that can be.). But she was still the sweet, wonderful, happy person I remembered from our session last November! Love this family. Here are some pictures from their session . . .
BTW, you may have noticed there's a new header on the blog. I created it forever ago and didn't feel like it looked quite right, I wondered if maybe it was a little too dark looking or something, I don't know. I came across it today and decided I'd put it up anyway since my header was in desperate need of an update. Hope you like it! I'll probably play around with a new one in a few months or so.
